An Indian Bengali television network is called Zee Bangla. It belongs to the Essel Group's Zee Networks.

After its initial introduction in 1996, the channel was shut down two months later. In 1999, the station was rebranded as Alpha Bangla. In 2005, it underwent modernization. It changed its name to Zee Bangla and debuted a new logo at the Zee Cine Awards on March 27, 2005.

Ek Akasher Dithi, Agni Pariksha, Rashi, Saat Paanke Badha, Boyi Gelo, Raage Anuraage, Gobana Ginni, Eso Maa Lakshmi, Saat Bhai Champa, Krishnakoli, Karunamoyee Rani Rashmoni, Mithai, and others are some of its most well-known serials.
