Ali Abbas Zafar wrote, directed, and produced the 2014 Indian Hindi-language action drama movie Gunday (also known as Outlaws). Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, and Irrfan Khan play the key roles in the movie. An outlaw and his best buddy fall in love with a cabaret dancer in the 1971–1988 Calcutta setting of Gunday, which leads to competition and misunderstandings between the two as a police officer tries to utilize the scenario to throw them in jail.
