Dhruva is a 2016 Indian Telugu action thriller film[3] that was produced by Allu Aravind under the brand of Geetha Arts and directed by Surender Reddy. Along with Navdeep, Rakul Preet Singh, Aravind Swamy, and Ram Charan, he plays the title character. It is an adaptation of the 2015 Tamil film Thani Oruvan and centers on Dhruva, an IPS officer who seeks to apprehend Siddharth Abhimanyu, a rich scientist who makes money using illegal and covert medical procedures.
The movie was released and started primary photography in February 2016; it was filmed in Kashmir and Hyderabad. Hiphop Tamizha composed the music for the movie, P. S. Vinod handled the cinematography, and Navin Nooli handled the editing.
After several delays, the movie finally saw a worldwide release on December 9, 2016. It was well received, with praise for the acting (especially Ram Charan and Arvind Swamy's), writing, direction, action scenes, and cinematography.
