'Friday,' a thriller web series by Raihan Rafi, will be available on
Binge today. Its trailer was released on Binge's official YouTube channel and
social media handles on February 28th.
The trailer begins with the claim that the series is R-rated. In Bangladesh,
however, no such ratings exist.
A family of five was shown celebrating a birthday in the trailer. As the story
progresses, the older daughter, Muna (played by Tama Mirza), attempts to kill
her parents and younger sister by giving them sleeping pills. Muna also
torments Pokat, her husband (played by Nasir Uddin Khan).
Unlike any other Bangladeshi series, the show is inspired by true events and
features blood and gore. Mohammad Bari, Farzana Chobi, Njilanjana Nil, Aditi,
and others appear in Friday.
